A 3-hour nightmare

Hexis Racing was among the favourites in the opening round of the Blancpain Endurance Series, but the French team couldn’t fight at the front as expected at Monza. From the very beginning of the race, Alvaro Parente had to cope with a lack of engine power, which badly hampered his McLaren in the fast straights of the legendary Autodromo Nazionale. Stef Dusseldorp and Alexander Sims had similarly frustrating stints. The team had to be content with finishing the race in 13th position in the Pro Cup class. The engineer will now analyse the data to find out what went wrong. See you in Le Mans for the first round of the FFSA GT French Championship on April 27-28.
